Why relocate to Pattaya, Thailand?
First a little history
Pattaya, originally a fishing village was the R&R retreat for American servicemen during the Vietnam War. Currently, the base population is 120,000 year-round residents ballooning to 350,000 ++ during tourist ( peak) season.
40,000 plus +++ of the 350,000 are vibrant young Asian women working in the comfort industry.
It is a status symbol for young Asian women to be in a relationship with a retired foreigner.
For the ladies, it represents a far better life. They understand, with crystal clarity, the secret to relationship longevity is to keep their man happy.

There is always something to do and friends to do it within this middle-class retirement heaven!
In Thailand and other countries, it is a status symbol for a beautiful twenty females to be in a relationship with a retired foreigner. It's totally acceptable and it's everywhere.

The condo is located in the beach town of Pattaya, Thailand directly on the Gulf of Thailand 1.5 hours southeast of Bangkok.
Buses direct to Bangkok Airport.
A fantastic location
The condo is located 3 blocks from the beach, one block from a large mall, 3 blocks to a well-appointed gym, and 2 blocks to central nightlife. You do not need a car and cheap scooter taxis are everywhere.

But you don't have to be that guy. Retirement in South East Asia is 25% of the cost in the States and in many cases less.
Here are some examples of my monthly living expenses.
The condo fee with water is $ 30. (Yes thirty) cell phone $ 4., haircut $ 5., scooter taxi from the condo to the nightlife 20 cents, the company of an affectionate lady $ 20., big breakfast at the restaurant $ 3.50 (keep you going all day), cannabis is legal (the government is flip-flopping on the legislation but the genie is out of the bottle and Cannabis Cafes are everywhere. Costs are cheap about 38 cents a gram when you buy it from a farmer.

Thailand, unlike the Philippines', has a first-world infrastructure, affordable first-class medical facilities, great internet, no power outages, no cyclones, and a heavenly social life if you're a single guy.
Most of the retired single men in Pattaya are middle class. Making good friends is super easy. There is always something to do and somebody to do it with. Nobody here has a 100ft. yacht with a helicopter on the stern so you are in a socioeconomic setting that you can afford with like-minded friends.
Pattaya is a popular tourist destination in Thailand known for its beautiful beaches, nightlife, and recreational activities. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities such as swimming, sunbathing, and water sports like jet skiing and parasailing. Deep sea fishing, private yacht charters, group pub crawls basically anything you want with the exception of skiing.
Pattaya is located directly on the gulf of Thailand which opens into the South China Sea so you can sail anywhere in the world from here or to here. Loads of marinas to keep you boat enthusiasts entertained.
For those who enjoy water sports, Pattaya has several diving schools that offer courses for beginners and advanced divers. Divers can explore the colorful coral reefs and marine life in the Gulf of Thailand.
There are also several island hopping tours that take visitors to nearby islands such as Koh Larn, Koh Sak, and Koh Krok.
Gyms with excellent facilities and personal trainers are numerous.
I go to a nice air-conditioned gym with tons of equipment, quiet during the day, and has a swimming pool and sun deck on-site to relax after my workout.
Yearly membership is $ 140. Yes, a year!!!
Golf
For those who enjoy golf, Pattaya has several world-class golf courses such as Siam Country Club, Pattaya Country Club, and Phoenix Gold Golf and Country Club. These courses offer challenging layouts and stunning views of the ocean.
For those who enjoy adventure sports, Pattaya has several options such as ATV rides, bungee jumping, and zip lining. There are also several theme parks in Pattaya such as Cartoon Network Amazon, Ramayana Water Park, crocodile farm, elephant park, 4 wheel safaris, and huge water park.
Most of all Pattaya is known for its nightlife. There are hundreds of bars, clubs, and discos that offer live music and world-class adult entertainment.
Freelancers (working girls) are everywhere and regardless of what you are into, you will never be alone unless you just need a break.
Visitors can enjoy traditional Thai dance shows, ladyboy (slang for beautiful transsexuals) cabaret shows, other performances, and of course world famous Thai kickboxing.
In addition to the above, Pattaya also has a range of spas and wellness centers where visitors can indulge in traditional Thai massage and spa treatments. There are also several beautiful temples and cultural attractions such as Wat Yansangwararam and Pattaya View Point.
As we get older we can start to lose our "mojo". Licensed clinics offering blood analysis as a prerequisite to testosterone treatments are numerous. Additionally; first-class hospitals offer plastic surgery, hair replacement, and a wide selection of procedures at a fraction of the cost of that in the States. You will need to register at the hospital to make sure the facility accepts your medical insurance provider with no deductible.
Weather is sunny and 85 degrees basically year round with a very short rainy season in September-October.
Thailand is centrally located in south East Asia so road trips to the Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, etc. are cheap with easy flight schedules.
